Kawaiiya: Order and Review

Since I did not do a review with my last order from Kawaii Ya, I thought I would this time around! 

When I first got back into kawaii (and actually ordering hoards of it and collecting) in 2010- Kawaii Ya was the place I went (keep in mind, it was the only kawaii store I knew about for the first few weeks other than Janet Store). I knew a lot of girls ordered from there and that the prices were always fair and not too much more than other stores (often many of the items are cheaper or the same as other stores). 

Kawaii Ya is known for monthly promotions and super sales. I spent 30 dollars without shipping included on my order. Due to this, I received three free sticker sacks and a wash cloth (image below). Her deals and free items really make it worth shopping with her! I cannot pass up a good deal~! The Super Sales are always 99 cents and sometimes she has mini memos or sticker sacks or even sticker sheets in the Super Sale category! Right now, a lot of the Super Sale items are sold out but they restock every month or two months (or so). 

My haul included a total of 13 items (including the free gifts). I bought a pack of Cafe Cafe envelopes for sending cute items to my customers in, 4 mini memos, 2 large memos, and two sticker sacks that come in vinyl change purses. For free gifts, I received three sticker sacks and a Milk Choco face towel. I would say my favorite things are the sticker sacks that came in vinyl change purses. I really loved the change purses as well as the sticker flakes that came in them~!

Communication: ♥♥♥

You only receive two messages- a receipt message (which I think is automatic because it came before the PayPal message to my account) and a USPS Click-n-Ship message. There is no between information or confirmation for the purchaser. You just have to wait and watch for an email confirming shipment. It might be due to the lack of personal contact that I only give this a few hearts.

Shipping/Packaging: ♥♥ and 1/2

When it comes to shipping, it usually takes a week for the items to be packed and shipped out (a little too slow). When you add it takes and week to ship with the lack of communication- it's irritating. This time I also had problems with how the items were packaged. Not a lot of care went into the packing of my items. They were placed in the cardboard flat rate mailer in cellophane sleeves with no cushion, cardboard backing, bubbled wrap or stretch wrap. It would have been way too easy for my items to become damaged- I was lucky that they were not.

These items are great if you are newer to kawaii and haven't begun to build a very large collection. Her updates are a little slow, the items do not change that much, and if you have bought from her a lot of times- it's just the same stuff as last time with a few additions. I am happy to buy from her because I have yet to actually buy too many of her items but I know my friends, who have bought from her many, many times, don't buy from her as much as they used to due to the same things being there.

Not too bad but the rating also isn't as good as some of the stores I have rated in the past. It really comes down to presentation and communication- and for those I wasn't as impressed as I could be. Still, all in all- if you do ever have problems with any items you order from Kawaii Ya, messaging her would be a great idea! She is helpful and willing to keep her customers happy! If you receive a bent memo pad, just message her! She will help! 

Kawaii Ya is a great, great store for people beginning in Kawaii or just wanting to add some certain items to their collection. Get into it~!
